In her talk the Nobel laureate Ada Yonath is honoring the contribution of Erwin Schrödinger, who viewed the living cell through the eyes of a physicist, outlining her personal view on the old question: What is life?

Prof. Ada Yonath is a structural biologist. She was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2009 for her pioneering work on the structure and function of the ribosome and its role in the evolution of life.

The lecture will be open to any person interested in science.
